American Bourbon
The name comes from Bourbon Bourbon County, a district on the border between the states of Kentucky and Virginia, where after the year 1850 even now many famous distilleries were established.
The proportion of corn is, in imitation of U.S. law, at least 51%. Bourbon whiskey, will therefore written differently than the Scotch whiskey without the "e". Only after two years of storage in the inside burnt oak barrels the distillate bottled.
