Fine wine from Coteau du Langedoc France. The appellation Coteax du Languedoc appellation is a relatively young, it was introduced only in 1985. Thisappellation covers about 50,000 acres with over 121 communities along the Mediterranean. For the ACwines only about 7,000 hectares of vineyard are used, the rest is used for Vin de Table and Vin de Pays.There are mainly red and rose wines are made, for the AC-classification was introduced in 1985. The red and rose wines are made from the varieties Carigan, Grenache Noir, Cinsault, Mourvedre and Syrah. The white wines from Coteaux du Languedoc were only resumed in 1988 in the AC classification.
