Ribeira Sacra is a wine region located in the Galicia region of Spain. Known for producing some of the most sought-after and highly-regarded red wines in the country. Region is characterized by its steep terraced vineyards, ancient winemaking traditions and unique microclimates. Wines are made primarily from the local grape varieties of MencÃa and Garnacha Tintorera.
